On 16 September 2026, UXO Lao, in collaboration with JICA, organized the Second Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) Meeting under the Project for Human Resource Development to Strengthen Organizational Capacity of UXO Lao.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the progress of the UXO Lao Long-Term Strategic Plan 2027–2036 and discuss the Plan of Operation, which outlines key activities and implementation arrangements following the completion of the Strategic Plan.

During the meeting, UXO Lao and JICA presented proposed activities, exchanged views with JCC members on their implementation, and received valuable guidance on the way forward.

This meeting marked another important step in strengthening UXO Lao’s organizational capacity and translating its long-term strategic direction into concrete actions, contributing to more sustainable and effective UXO action in Lao PDR.
