UXO Lao would like to extend its sincere congratulations on the successful hosting and reception of delegates attending the Third Review Conference of the Convention on Cluster Munitions, who visited a UXO clearance site operated by UXO Lao in Luang Prabang Province.

This achievement would not have been possible without the contributions and cooperation of all relevant stakeholders. Among them, our field staff in Luang Prabang played an important role by carefully planning and preparing every aspect of the visit to ensure the readiness, safety, and security of the visiting delegates. Their dedication contributed to the smooth and successful reception of both domestic and international delegates visiting the field operations.

At the same time, UXO Lao would like to express its sincere appreciation to the U.S. Government for its continued support for UXO Lao’s operations in Luang Prabang Province and in five other provinces—Huaphan, Khammouane, Savannakhet, Salavan and Attapeu.
